International Congress
of Interbehaviorism

For many years, we - and several other people interested in the development of interbehaviorism - have talked about the need for creating spaces for behavior scientists to meet and discuss the enterprise. Groups and organizations, like the International Association for Interbehavioral Psychologists and ABAI's Interbehaviorist SIG, were established to promote interbehaviorism, but they have not been active for some time. Although interbehavioral psychology has a long history of meetings, including International Colloquia of Interbehavioral Psychology and Student Congresses on Interbehavioral Psychology Research, a major event dedicated to the science has not occurred for some time. The first International Congress of Interbehaviorism aims to address this.

The goal of the Congress is to advance interbehavioral psychology and adjacent fields by sharing and discussing contemporary research, theory, and obstacles. Like every scientific enterprise, interbehavioral psychology faces challenges in its theoretical and experimental domains, dissemination, and practical application. This Congress has been convened to work toward addressing these issues. Through the Congress, we also hope to show students, scientists, and the public many of the exciting developments currently happening in interbehavioral psychology.

The first day of the Congress is a conference. All are welcome to register for the conference. Presentations will cover a range of topics related to interbehavioral psychology. Registrants can attend the conference in person or online, but space in both is limited. The conference will be held from 8am to 8pm on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Henning SEED Center, located right next to McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. You can earn 7.5 BCBA Learning CEUs by attending the conference in full if you purchase the CEU package ($50 USD). Standard registration costs $75 USD. Reduced registration pricing ($20 USD) is available for undergraduate students, graduate students, and RBTs. Use the Registration Form below to register for the conference. Invited speakers for the conference include:

After the conference, the invited speakers will hold two days' worth of discussions at McNeese State University.
